Players will need to wait until they get to the postgame and acquire the National Dex to access Weezing's various spawn locations. The second method is by searching for a wild Weezing. The first way involves trainers heading down to Route 210. There are two different ways to obtain the Smoke Ball item. Picking the 'Run' option and failing to run away will leave the trainer's Pokémon wide open for an attack. During normal wild encounters, trainers are given the option to run away from battles. The Smoke Ball is a Held Item that enables the holder to flee from any wild Pokémon encounter without fail.
